Got my first pet at 10 and kept it for longest time. I thought now that I hit 40, and I can x-train for skills. Worked so far, but when I tried a cat, I think I made a mistake. The Mountain Lion was like level 24. I had to fight level 35's to get points to raise the cat. The cat is doing nothing to help, no damage, can't hold aggro. Nothing but a meat pit. Should I drop him and get a level closer to mine? SLOWLY he got to level 30 to pick up alot of talents but still is 11 levels back.-Moved to Kil'Jaeden
